Social Selling Agent is made by Modern Mustard Seed LLC. It lists a store's units on Facebook Marketplace and answers the buyers who write about them, on the store's behalf. This page says what it keeps and why.

What we keep

• The store's name, address, phone, hours and settings, and the emails of the people who use its desk.
• The units on the store's public website: prices, photos and descriptions, read the way a search engine reads them.
• Marketplace chats with buyers who write to the store's listings: their Facebook name, what they wrote, what the agent wrote back, and any phone number or email they chose to give.
• Visits the agent booked: the buyer's name, the time, the unit and their phone number when they gave one.

What we never keep

Facebook passwords and sign-in codes. A salesperson types them straight into Facebook through a sealed live window; they pass through as sealed boxes and are never stored or read by us.

How it is used

Only to run the store's agent: to write listings, answer buyers, book visits and tell the store about them. We do not sell or share a store's data or its buyers' messages, and we do not use them to advertise.

Answers are written with Anthropic's Claude. The text of a chat is sent to write the next answer and is not used to train models.

How long

As long as the store has an account. When a store cancels, its chats and visits are deleted within 90 days, or sooner when the store asks.
